CAP Region Staff College is a professional one-week in-residence leadership school designed to prepare CAP Officers for service at the wing and region staff level. It is a part of the Professional Development Program and is required for completion of Level IV and promotion to the grade of Lt Col. This site is specific to the Middle East Region Staff College. In 2005, the method of curriculum delivery at MERSC underwent a drastic change. Now students no longer spend the week sitting in classrooms for the dreaded "death by PowerPoint" presentations, but instead devote most of their time to hands-on practical exercises and projects that embody the required curriculum. It is a serious working environment with little leisure time, but when students graduate, they do so armed with practical and useful knowledge and skills. All CAP Officers who require Region Staff College are invited to attend. MERSC is not limited to those who are members of the wings in the Middle East Region. It
is our hope to not only provide you with information on the upcoming Middle East
Region Staff College,
but also to show what we've done in the past. Enjoy! |
